Career Journey
Tom worked his way up through the ranks, starting as an equipment operator and advancing to foreman, superintendent, project manager, and senior estimator. He has experience estimating and managing projects across multiple delivery methods, including negotiated work, public works, CMGC, and design-build, with project values ranging from $1 million to over $1.5 billion.
From 2007 to 2018, Tom served as Senior Estimator for Skanska in their Riverside office before joining Krebs Corporation. He is proficient at contract negotiation with vendors, subcontractors, and clients, and acts as a liaison to engineers, architects, and government officials. His skills include crew and equipment scheduling, job costing, advance planning, and ensuring safety for both the public and project teams.
