Matthew Schmidt

Matthew is an experienced modeler and business development manager with two decades of expertise in earthwork, material, and underground construction modeling. He leverages advanced 3D modeling and Agtek software to support contractors and estimating teams, improving accuracy, efficiency, and project outcomes.

Career Journey

At Agtek, Matthew specialized in the Agtek suite for machine control, takeoffs, and 3D modeling. He also trained clients, contractors, and internal teams on advanced Agtek techniques, providing software demonstrations and hands-on instruction for a variety of construction projects.

In addition to modeling, Matthew has extensive project management experience, overseeing budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and scope revisions. He has led GPS departments, developed 3D models, and managed teams across both private and public construction projects, ensuring collaboration between engineers, surveyors, contractors, and stakeholders.
