Jimmy is an experienced cost estimator and project advisor with a strong background in heavy civil and rail transit construction. Beginning his career in the field and advancing through project management and estimating roles, Jimmy brings both hands-on construction knowledge and deep expertise in cost analysis, constructability, and negotiation support. Since 2008, he has provided independent cost estimating, constructability reviews, risk assessments, and change order negotiation services on major infrastructure projects across the country.

Career Journey

Jimmy began his career as a laborer with Kiewit on the first major design-build project in Salt Lake City. Over time, he worked his way up to Estimator and Project Manager, gaining a strong foundation in field operations and project delivery.

In 2008, Jimmy began providing estimating, constructability, and change order negotiation support for the UTA FrontLines projects. This work launched his long-term focus on independent advisory services for heavy civil and transit programs. Since then, he has supported agencies nationwide with a combination of cost estimating, constructability input, risk assessments, and price negotiation leadership.
