He combines hands-on civil construction knowledge with advanced estimating skills to deliver accurate, contractor-informed cost analysis and support strategic project decision-making.

Career Journey

Over his career, Mike has developed estimates, schedules, and quantity take-offs for projects ranging from $50 million to $4 billion, including work for Sound Transit, CALTRANS, and ADOT. Known for his quality, consistency, and efficiency, he leads estimating teams, mentors junior staff, and ensures that project budgets and analyses are precise and practical.

Mike has a strong technical background in horizontal and volume quantity take-offs, subcontractor coordination, and project visualization. He has also shared his expertise as a guest lecturer on earthworks at Arizona State University.
