Steve is an experienced civil and bridge estimator with a strong background in structure and bridge projects across the U.S. He combines hands-on engineering and estimating experience to deliver realistic, contractor-informed cost guidance for a variety of bridge types and highway projects.

Career Journey

Steve began his career with Granite Construction as an entry-level engineer/estimator and progressed to Lead Engineer, gaining experience on large public and private projects, including design-build and CMGC delivery.

In 2016, he transitioned to providing estimating and constructability services on behalf of owners, focusing on structure and bridge cost estimating. He also led HNTB’s Project Controls group in the Great Lakes region, overseeing cost estimating, scheduling, constructability reviews, and other project controls efforts. Steve’s experience spans highway and bridge projects in California, Oregon, Washington, Minnesota, and Virginia.
